POSITION SUMMARY: 

All Together Recovery LLC (ATR) provides multiple levels of ASAM SUD/BHSO care, including recovery housing, education, job training, employment, and other recovery-related supports. 

 

The Kitchen & Canteen Assistant serves as a role model for all program participants, demonstrating integrity, recovery competence, and professionalism. This role supports meal preparation, kitchen sanitation, canteen operations, and client engagement. 

 

Responsibilities include assisting with cooking, maintaining a safe and compliant environment, tracking canteen accounts, and supporting Client Support/House Management as needed. 

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

Maintain a valid Kentucky driver's license. 

Participate in staff meetings and required trainings. 

Know and follow all ATR rules, policies, and procedures. 

Model servant leadership and operate with integrity. 

Communicate clearly and respond promptly to correspondence. 

Maintain required personal certifications and training. 

Maintain required records in compliance with policies and regulations. 

Educate and coach clients on house rules and expectations. 

Assist with meal preparation and timely distribution. 

Maintain kitchen and dining areas to health and safety standards. 

Keep equipment in good working condition; report issues promptly. 

Maintain adequate food, snack, and drink supplies. 

Assist in labeling, purchasing, inventorying, and securing stock. 

Keep kitchen clean, organized, and safe at all times. 

Perform canteen duties, including distribution and financial tracking. 

Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.
