Position at a Glance

• Employment: Full-Time
• Department: Assisted Living
• Shift: Evenings
• Hours: 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
• Schedule: Consistent full-time hours
• Location: Assisted Living - Southfield Village, South Bend, IN

Pay & Shift Premiums

Base pay: $19.46–$21.74 per hour

Additional compensation includes:

• +$2.00/hour evening shift differential
• +$2.00/hour weekend differential

What You'll Bring to the Role

As a CNA in Assisted Living, you'll help residents with their daily needs while encouraging independence and supporting their individual preferences. You'll get to know the residents, build meaningful relationships, and help create a comfortable and welcoming home environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other activities of daily living
• Providing personalized care while promoting dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence
• Helping residents with their evening routines, including preparing for bedtime
• Providing companionship and engaging with residents throughout the shift
• Observing residents and promptly reporting changes or concerns to nursing staff
• Working closely with nurses and fellow team members to provide quality resident care
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
• Building positive relationships with residents and families through dependable, compassionate service

You should have:

• A current Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• A genuine interest in working with older adults

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers
• A commitment to promoting resident choice, dignity, and independence

Previous senior care or Assisted Living experience is valuable, but what matters most is your commitment to providing thoughtful, compassionate care.
