About Our Client

Our Client:

My client is a nationally recognized general contractor delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, and multifamily projects across the country. Their Indianapolis office is in a major growth phase, backed by a strong $150M+ backlog and a pipeline of $20M-$70M projects.

What really sets them apart is their fully integrated approach, with architects and engineers in-house, giving the construction team exposure to the entire project lifecycle from design through delivery. They operate in a highly collaborative environment and are looking for curious, driven, self-motivated individuals who want to take ownership, grow quickly, and build a long-term career with the company.

Job Description

The Project Manager's Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of projects from preconstruction through final closeout, driving schedule, budget, quality, and execution from start to finish.

  • Lead project teams, subcontractors, and vendors, holding all parties accountable to schedule, scope, and project expectations.

  • Own project financials, including budget management, cost forecasting, change orders, billing, and overall project profitability.

  • Drive procurement, subcontractor buyout, scope leveling, and contract negotiations to mitigate risk and protect the bottom line.

  • Develop and maintain master project schedules and look-aheads, identifying potential delays early and driving solutions before they impact the critical path.

  • Lead communication with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal operations teams, serving as the central point of contact throughout the build.

  • Proactively manage RFIs, submittals, change management, and project documentation to keep field operations moving.

  • Maintain accountability around safety, quality control, contract compliance, and closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
