Job Summary
Description
Willow Kids Set Up Technician
South Barrington, IL | Part-Time
Help create a space where kids can experience the love of Jesus!
At Willow Creek Community Church, our mission is to Love God, Love People, and Change the World. One way we live out that mission is by creating welcoming, safe, and engaging environments where kids can learn about Jesus and families can feel at home.
As our Willow Kids Set Up Technician, you'll play an important behind-the-scenes role in making that happen! From preparing classrooms and organizing supplies to helping our spaces run smoothly on Sundays, your work will help create an exceptional experience for kids, families, and volunteers.
What You'll Do
- Prepare the space: Set up Willow Kids rooms and prepare supplies and curriculum materials for weekend services.
- Keep things organized: Unload curriculum carts, organize supplies, and distribute materials throughout the Willow Kids spaces.
- Reset and refresh: Tear down rooms after services, store toys and materials, and help clean classrooms and designated restrooms.
- Support the Sunday experience: Jump in wherever needed, from swapping and cleaning toys to assisting volunteers and providing general ministry support.
- Serve as part of a team: Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers, staying flexible as needs change throughout the day.
Why This Role Matters
Every classroom that's ready, every supply that's in place, and every space that's clean and organized helps remove distractions so kids, families, and volunteers can focus on what matters most. Your service helps make Willow Kids a place where children can grow in their faith and families can feel welcomed and cared for.
Ready to make a difference behind the scenes? We'd love to hear from you!
