Job Description
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives across assigned spend categories
- Identify and qualify new suppliers to improve cost, quality, service, and risk mitigation
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract discussions, and commercial agreements
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while managing supplier performance metrics
- Monitor market trends, commodity movements, and material availability to support informed purchasing decisions
- Drive continuous cost reduction and value improvement programs
- Analyze spend data and procurement performance to identify opportunities for optimization
- Partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, product development, and commercial teams
- Support forecasting activities and long-term supply planning efforts
- Develop supplier scorecards and KPI reporting to measure performance and accountability
- Ensure continuity of supply and proactively manage procurement-related risks

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience developing and implementing sourcing strategies
- Strong supplier relationship management experience
- Demonstrated success negotiating contracts and supplier agreements
- Experience achieving measurable cost savings and process improvements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate spend, supplier performance, and market trends
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
