Job Description
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Solicit subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Analyze bid packages and identify project risks
- Prepare conceptual and hard-bid estimates
- Assist with value engineering efforts
- Participate in bid reviews and presentations
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and public agencies

The Successful Applicant
- 8+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor
- Experience bidding public-sector projects
- Knowledge of prevailing wage requirements and public bid procedures
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience using estimating software preferred
