About Our Client
Our client is a respected General Contractor with a long history of delivering K-12 schools, higher education facilities, municipal buildings, fire stations, libraries, and public-sector projects across the Chicagoland area.
Job Description
- Manage education and municipal projects through all phases
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration
- Lead owner meetings and coordinate with public agencies
- Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and bid packages
- Monitor project costs and forecast financial performance
- Manage consultant, architect, and subcontractor relationships
- Ensure compliance with public bidding and documentation requirements
- Support business development and repeat client relationships

The Successful Applicant
- 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor
- Experience on K-12, higher education, municipal, or public-sector projects
- Strong understanding of public procurement and construction processes
- Proven ability to manage projects valued at $15M-$100M+
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
