Job Description

• Review project information to identify the scope of construction work and estimate requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor work.
• Request and review pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to support accurate estimates.
• Compare estimate details with project documents and update costs when project requirements change.
• Build estimate summaries that clearly present project costs and assumptions.
• Work with Construction team members to clarify project details and resolve estimate questions.
• Maintain organized estimate files and pricing information for current and future project use.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have:

• Experience preparing construction cost estimates.
• Experience reviewing project documents and scope details.
• Ability to estimate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Experience requesting and evaluating supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Ability to organize cost information and maintain accurate estimate records.
• Clear communication skills for discussing estimate details with Construction team members.
