Our client is a reputable GC with over 75 years of experience in the Commercial Construction space. This firm has 2 office on the east coast: DC and Savannah. They complete well over $2B in revenue annually and employ 170 employees between the two offices.

Job Description

• Coordinate daily construction activities to keep property projects on schedule.
• Monitor site progress and address issues that could affect planned work.
• Work with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to align daily priorities.
• Review completed work for alignment with project plans and quality expectations.
• Maintain a safe job site by reinforcing site rules and reporting hazards.
• Track materials, equipment, and labor needs to support planned construction activities.
• Communicate site updates, schedule changes, and field conditions to the project team.
• Document daily site activity and progress for clear project records.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

• Experience coordinating construction activities on active project sites.
• Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Ability to read project plans and apply them to daily site work.
• Experience tracking schedules, materials, equipment, and labor needs.
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices and hazard reporting.
• Ability to document site progress, field conditions, and daily activities.
