Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):

• Operates various types of construction equipment at a proficient level.
• Oversees work of subcontractor.
• Assists Superintendent in planning manpower levels, material quantities, equipment requirements and other planning functions.
• May repair and maintain equipment in addition to other duties.
• Records all job details and time worked on each piece of equipment on provided tickets.
• Performs additional duties assigned by supervisor.

• Confers with supervisory personnel and employees (with appropriate assistance from HR and Legal) to resolve complaints and grievances within the work force.

• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

• 3 years Industrial Construction Equipment Operator experience preferred.
• Experience managing operator crews and/or subcontractors preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, sit and stand for extended periods in all weather conditions.
• Use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
