Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Brookhaven seeks a full-time communications coordinator to manage and support parish communications across print and digital platforms. Working closely with the pastor, parish staff, school, preschool, ministry leaders and parish organizations, this position ensures clear, timely, and consistent communication throughout the campus. Duties include managing and updating the parish website; producing the weekly bulletin and e-newsletter; overseeing parish social media and digital communications; promoting parish events, ministries, and initiatives; coordinating communication schedules and content; supporting parish branding and messaging; collaborating with staff and ministry leaders to gather and distribute information; and staying current with emerging communications tools, platforms and media through ongoing professional development. Qualified candidates have strong writing, editing, organizational, and digital communication skills. A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant professional experience.
