Description: The Speer YMCA is searching for a friendly, energetic Silver Sneakers® Group Exercise Instructor. The Silver Sneakers® Fitness Program is an innovative health, exercise and wellness program helping adults 55 and older live healthy, active lifestyles.
Requirements:
- Must be certified in Classic and/or Circuit formats.
- Ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, listening and customer service skills.
- Must work effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions, and perceptions.
- Builds rapport, inspires and relates well to others. Accepts and demonstrates the Y's values.
- Pass a 10-panel drug screen.
- Clear a Level 2 background check*
Pay & Perks: Part-Time, $22.00-$24.00/hour, based on experience and certifications. Free individual YMCA membership for employee and discount for household family members.
