Direct Service Professional (DSP)

The Arc of Palm Beach County is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Service Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Residential, Adult Day Training, Recreation, and Respite programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and skill development
• Support independence, socialization, and community involvement
• Lead and participate in recreational and educational activities
• Ensure participant health, safety, and well-being
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely
• Transport participants to appointments, activities, and community outings as needed
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, and team members to provide quality support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Florida Driver's License and auto insurance required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in direct care, healthcare, childcare, education, or human services preferred
• Ability to pass required background screenings and drug-free workplace requirements
