Electronics Technician - XRaysMettler Toledo

The Electronics Technician utilizes tools, fixtures, and work instructions, to support repair of low complexity electronic modules, Xray tanks and detectors and/or Metal Detector repair and new build production. What you will do:Follow detailed work instructions, processes and proceduresDiagnose, refurbish and repair product inspection equipment in accordance with Risk Assessment and Safe Mechanical and Electrical guidelinesReport problems with quality, processes, equipment and material to Repair Supervisors and/or Repair ManagerDocument actions by completing quality checklistsWork with supervision to understand our process capabilities and develop ideas that reduce costs and improve qualityProvide basic hands-on job function training to coworkers as neededMaintain a safe, clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functionMaintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and managementConserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsAccurately track and record time spent on projectsAdhere to all company policies and procedures Other duties as assignedPerform entry level SAP TransactionsAssist higher level techs as needed and learn for advancement.Carry out tasks in one of the areas below:Perform return evaluation process to diagnose, refurbish and test X-Ray generators with support/ supervisionEvaluate, repair and test MT X-Ray Detectors with support/ supervisionDisassemble, and perform the tank cleaning process for refurbishmentEvaluate MT Flex industrial computers for repairEnter detailed QN tasks
