The (FAT) Test Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining quality standards by assisting in the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of Checkweighers, Metal Detectors, and X-Ray systems. This position is vital in ensuring system integrity prior to shipment, contributing to the overall quality assurance process. What you will do:Interpret and follow detailed mechanical prints, electrical schematics, parts lists, assembly instructions, and established processes and procedures. Report quality issues, process inconsistencies, and equipment/material concerns to the Quality Management team. Assist in conducting customer-driven and internal FAT protocols for Checkweighers, Metal Detectors, and X-Ray systems. Support post-FAT hand-offs to Production, Engineering, and Service departments. Monitor the FAT calendar and workload. Learn and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the FAT Workspace. Develop operational competency in handling Quality transactions using the SAP business system. Collaborate with Value Stream Quality Engineers as needed. Ensure FAT areas comply with 5S and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, reflecting positively on our customers. Perform additional duties as assigned.
