The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts while maintaining quality and safety standards. What you will do:Physically and systematically receive and verify raw material receiptsAbility to safely load and unload material both manually and utilizing a forkliftCommunicate material location changes with inventory teamDeburr parts and help ensure quality standards are metFollowing the work schedule as assigned and ability to layout the correct priorities for the work scheduledEnsure all parts produced is confirmed in SAP, tagged and staged in proper locationsPerform cycle counting as requiredOperates Manual Mills/Lathes/Plastic Machining (Hardinge, GMC, Bridgeport)Performs routine preventative maintenance on machineryPerforms Quality at the Source checks on made partsAccurately records actual labor estimates on all production ordersKeeps work area(s) clean and organized to 5S standardsAdheres to all company policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned
