Job Description

This position provides engineering support for planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SVEC’s electrical distribution facilities and substations.

Job Related Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university preferred. (Degrees in a related engineering discipline may be considered)
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and Rural Utilities Service (RUS) standards.
Familiarity with distribution system modeling, GIS, SCADA, OMS, and engineering design software is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and other engineering software applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
