What you can expect as a Compliance Staff I: 

• Identify operational and compliance risks through consulting and solutions management activity.
• Improve the identification, measurement, management, reporting and controls in governance, risk, and control environments.
• Prepare reports to document the scope of projects, procedures, findings, and recommendations.
• Contribute and keep updated team calendar, planner and intranet site.
• Assist management of department email.
• Review incoming communication, content, and work with management to establish appropriate communications or policies and procedures as needed.
• Act as a liaison to all related entities and respond to all internal action requests.
• Complete research on new and existing state legislation. 
• Oversee and manage companywide compliance regulation internally and externally.
• Align with management to ensure compliance with applicable company policies (i.e., record retention, data calls, audits, etc.).
• Communicate with and educate process owners on the importance of compliance, controls, an effective control environment, and the role of the team.
