Job Summary
Production Supervisor- Weekend Shift Opportunity at VAC-CON in Green Cove Springs, FL
Summary: Supervises and coordinates the work of Assembly Department employees. Assigns work, prepares schedules and oversees production work. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Ensures the operations and employees follow proper policies and procedures as well as promotes and maintains a safety-oriented environment.
Essential Job Functions/Duties:
- Ensures production goals for the 2nd (night shift) are met by all build cells and production departments (Sub Assembly, Assembly, Paint, Fab, Weld, Final, etc.).
- Accomplishes manufacturing goals by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: 3-5 Years
- Certifications: None required
- Additional knowledge or skills: Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
- Must be able to work cooperatively with other cross-functional department leaders.
- Must have demonstrable experience achieving business results through team leadership.
