Boatyard is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Greeter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests experience from start to finish is enjoyable. This position requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. • Basic computer and reservation system knowledge is a preferred but not required
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Attention to detail and ability to anticipate guests needs
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

What You’ll Do:

• Warm greet/farewell as guests arrive and depart from the restaurant
• Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurants system
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Communicate accurate wait times to guests and keep them updated
• Answer incoming calls and assist with inquires or reservations
• Maintain an organized and clean host stand and entrance area
• Assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed
• Assist in coordinating seating to ensure smooth service for servers/sections of the restaurant
