CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Programmer 

Thomas Sign and Awning in Clearwater, Florida, creates brands that get businesses noticed and tower over the competition!   

We are looking for a CNC Programmer to join our growing production team.  The CNC Programmer will prepare production files for vinyl plotters and CNC routing machines by translating engineering blueprints and CAD models into G-code/M-Code for automated tools.  Optimizing the machine paths of the cutting tools to produce high quality manufactured parts.

Candidates must possess the following:

• Use CAD/CAM software to write, debug and code CNC Machines
• Ability to read production drawings and use a scale rule if needed
• Adjust machine settings and tool paths to enhance efficiency to achieve high-quality standard
• Troubleshoot code errors or mechanical issues
• Must have good mathematical skills
• Understanding of cutting tools, materials and machining process.
• Background in the sign-making or graphics industry helpful but not required
• Experience using one of the following software types is required: Enroute, Casmate, Flexi-sign, Adobe Illustrator or other graphics or CAD software
• Exceptional attention to detail needed to ensure accurate and precise manufacturing
