Build a career that goes beyond a job—it changes lives.

About This Role:
The Call Center Representative at Evara Health is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to provide information, assist with inquiries, and ensure efficient appointment scheduling and patient support. This role involves maintaining excellent customer service, managing patient information in electronic health records (EHR), and supporting the overall operations of the call center. As a part of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), the representative also plays a critical role in ensuring access to quality healthcare services for underserved populations.

What You'll Do:

  • Call Management & Patient Scheduling
    • Answer high volumes of inbound calls, respond to inquiries, and route calls to appropriate departments while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
    • Schedule and reschedule appointments, communicate changes to patients, update EHR records, and monitor appointment reminders and cancellations.
  • Patient Support & Healthcare Navigation
    • Complete new patient registration, update patient information, document phone interactions, and explain insurance coverage, sliding fee scale options, and available Evara Health services.
    • Help patients navigate referrals and follow-up care while coordinating with clinical teams to connect patients with appropriate services.
  • Customer Service & Communication
    • Provide empathetic, patient-centered service while following established communication scripts and meeting required key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Resolve patient concerns fairly, escalate issues when needed, and maintain effective communication with team members and other departments.
  • Administrative & Operational Support
    • Maintain accurate patient records, navigate EHR charts, update worklists and queues, and complete administrative tasks to support efficient contact center operations.
    • Support patient recall and preventive care outreach, coordinate with care team members, and contribute to meetings and initiatives that improve operations and patient satisfaction.
  • Technology, Compliance & Quality Improvement
    • Use multi-line phone systems, EHRs, CRM tools, and call center software effectively; troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate complex problems to IT support.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with Evara Health, HIPAA, HRSA, state, federal, and accreditation requirements.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One or more years of experience in a call center or front office healthcare setting preferred.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm

Why You'll Love Working Here:

  • Impact: Every day, you’ll make a significant impact on our patients’ lives, leading efforts that go beyond healthcare to ensure community wellbeing.
  • Growth: We support your professional development through continuous learning and opportunities to grow within Evara Health.
