Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse, RN to join our team at Aviata at Santa Barbara in Cape Coral, Florida. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supervision, and coordination with other facility personnel.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse, RN, you will be responsible for supervising staff and overseeing patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations. You will follow established facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care. Additionally, you will supervise Certified Nursing Assistants during shift, including assigning and distributing work, performance management, training new staff, and ensuring work is being performed according to facility standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervise staff and oversee patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations.
Follow established facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care.
Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants during shift, including assigning and distributing work, performance management, training new staff, and ensuring work is being performed according to facility standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
