Security Associate (St Petersburg/Clearwater)Goodwill Industries-Suncoast

Job Summary:  Secures and safeguards the facility to which he/she is assigned, preventing the loss of Goodwill-Suncoast property. Patrols the facility to which he/she is assigned in accordance with established Goodwill policies and procedures and instructions from the security supervisor. Documents all events, reports hazardous conditions observed, and submits appropriate written records to the security supervisor in a timely manner and as requested. Controls access to the facility to which he/she is assigned; ensuring visitors are properly signed in, receive a visitor badge and informs Goodwill staff of arrival. Follows the agency's emergency and after-hours procedures in the event of an emergency.

Job Requirements:  High-school graduate/GED or equivalent related experience. Prefer six to twelve months of experience in retail, industrial, or commercial security and/or law enforcement experience. Subject to alcohol and drug testing. Subject to criminal history background checks.
