Job Summary

A partner organization is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience as an AV Tech. Promising and motivated professionals with less than two years of experience may be considered. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment for various events and presentations. You'll work with sound systems, video projection equipment, and other AV technology to ensure seamless technical execution. This position requires a sharp eye for detail and the ability to think quickly when technical challenges arise.

Responsibilities
  • Support production setup/teardown and studio resets including projectors, sound systems, microphones, and video displays for events and presentations

  • Assist with routing, cabling, patching, and basic networking tasks

  • Support live productions under the Technical Director’s direction

  • Assist with maintenance, installs, and equipment readiness

  • Punch shows and mix audio during staffing shortages

  • We are a cross-functional team. You will be expected to perform duties outside your

  • normal responsibilities, as needed.

Qualifications

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and occasionally weekends based on event schedules. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Physical capability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds and work in various venue environments.
