Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time
Civita Care Center West River | Milford, CT
$33–$36/hour | Full-Time | Benefits
Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Civita Care Center West River. Work alongside experienced clinicians while providing hands-on therapy that helps residents improve movement, build strength, and regain greater independence.
What You'll Do
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and functional mobility
- Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and therapy goals
- Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT
- Reinforce therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications
- Active Connecticut PTA license required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply
