Job Description
- Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day field operations on active healthcare construction projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, site activities, material deliveries, and project logistics.
- Monitor project schedules and help ensure milestones are achieved safely and efficiently.
- Support quality control efforts and ensure work is completed in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Conduct site walks, identify potential issues, and assist in resolving field challenges.
- Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and safety records.
- Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings as needed.
- Promote jobsite safety and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Superintendent should have:
- 2 to 5 years of construction experience in a field leadership capacity.
- Healthcare construction experience is highly preferred.
- Experience working on commercial, institutional, healthcare, or public-sector projects.
- Understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
- Proficiency with common construction software platforms such as Procore or similar tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to commute to the Hartford, Connecticut area and project sites throughout the state.
- Desire to grow within a long-term career opportunity.
