Licensed Counselor (1099 Contractor) - Christ-Centered (IOP)Lifted From The Rut
We're looking for someone with 2-8 years of experience as a Licensed Counselor to join our Christ-centered Intensive Outpatient Program as a 1099 contractor. In this role, you'll provide compassionate, faith-based counseling services while facilitating group therapy sessions that support clients on their journey to healing and recovery. You'll work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality care that integrates clinical excellence with Christian principles, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions that integrate evidence-based practices with Christian principles Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for clients in the Intensive Outpatient Program Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for all clients
Active state licensure as a professional counselor (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent) Strong commitment to Christ-centered care and ability to integrate faith into therapeutic practice Experience working with clients facing mental health and/or substance use challenges

Role Overview:
We are seeking LAC, LPC, CAS, LMFT, and LCSW who are aligned with our Christ-centered mission to provide group and individual counseling services as part of our Intensive Outpatient Program. This role starts as a 1099 independent contractor with the potential to transition into a W-2 employee as the program grows.
Responsibilities:
✅ Facilitate Christ-centered group therapy sessions (3 hours/session, 3 sessions per week)
✅ Provide individual counseling sessions as caseload allows
✅ Integrate faith-based practices (prayer, scripture, spiritual discussions) with evidence-based therapy
✅ Complete clinical documentation in a timely, professional manner
✅ Participate in team collaboration meetings (as needed)
✅ Support clients in relapse prevention, trauma recovery, and personal growth
Ideal Qualifications:
Current licensure or certification in Colorado
Preferred Minimum 5 years clinical experience in addiction recovery
Have lived experience with addiction
Strong alignment with Christian values and Christ-centered recovery models
Skilled in group facilitation and individual counseling
Able to work independently as a contractor while collaborating with the team
