Job Description
As the Estimator, you will report into senior estimating leadership and support the preconstruction team across multiple active pursuits.
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial and multi-family projects
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Support subcontractor and supplier outreach, including bid solicitation and tracking
- Assist with bid leveling, scope reviews, and pricing analysis
- Review plans, specifications, and addenda to ensure full scope coverage
- Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information
- Prepare bid proposals and supporting documentation for tender submissions

The Successful Applicant
- Experience in commercial or multi-family construction estimating
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and take-offs
- Familiarity with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel in particular)
- Ability to analyze subcontractor bids and support pricing evaluations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with project teams
- A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow within preconstruction
