At The Learning Experience Banning Lewis Ranch, we are looking for teachers who take pride in providing high-quality care, maintain reliable attendance, and contribute to a positive and professional workplace culture.
As a Toddler Teacher, you will work with children ages 12–36 months, supporting their development through consistent routines, nurturing care, and engaging learning experiences. This role requires effective classroom management, consistency, communication, and teamwork to maintain a safe and positive environment for children and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
- Maintain active supervision and required teacher-to-child ratios
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Implement our L.E.A.P. curriculum and daily classroom routines
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
- Contribute to a positive and respectful team culture
- Maintain accurate classroom records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Experience working with toddlers ages 12–36 months
- Colorado Shines PDIS Credential 3.0 Level 2 or higher
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- EQIT preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- CDA or qualifying Early Childhood Education coursework
- Working knowledge of childcare licensing, health, and safety standards
- Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, including lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs as needed for the care and safety of children, with or without reasonable accommodation
Requirements:
- Ability to successfully complete all state-required background screening requirements
- Ability to meet Colorado childcare licensing requirements
