Job Summary

We are an independent RIA firm looking for a sharp, organized, reliable, motivated professional with superior attention to detail to be an Operations/Financial Planning Associate. The Operations/Financial Planning Associate works in a team-oriented environment to deliver a seamless and integrated approach to client service for the Firm. The ideal candidate will be passionate about client service and will use their communication and relationship management skills to ensure an exceptional level of client satisfaction at all times. Comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes healthcare and 401k Match. Salary ranges from $60,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare client and custodian paperwork

  • Manage workflow of onboarding new clients

  • Ongoing communication with clients

  • Input accurate data into multiple systems (CRM system, filing system, custodian sites, etc.)

  • Coordinate with our IT company to resolve any technological issues

  • Research, follow-up, and resolve client inquiries and problems through effective interaction with clients, account custodians, professional consultants, and other staff in a timely and professional manner.

  • Back up for other positions in the office

  • Assist with building financial plans

  • Assist with data verification and input for alternative investments

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

  • Efficient in research, troubleshooting, task management, and follow up.

  • A focus on detail and accuracy

  • Ability to prioritize and independently manage your daily tasks. Must work effectively on your own and as part of a team

  • Maintain a “client-first” service focus

  • Excellent operational and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex work, be self-directed, and quickly develop a full understanding of our business

  • The aptitude to learn and understand the financial services industry

Preferred:

  • 2-3 years of financial services experience.

  • Experience with both brokerage and advisory platforms.

  • Schwab advisor service platform experience

  • Addepar experience

  • eMoney experience
