We’re proud to be voted among the “Best Place to Work in Los Angeles” by the LA Business Journal 4 years in a row.As Chief of Staff to our Co-Heads of Development, you’ll serve as the strategic operator behind one of the organization’s most critical functions. You’ll drive execution across a 30+ person fundraising team, align priorities with executive leadership, build scalable systems and processes, oversee key initiatives, and ensure seamless coordination across departments. This role combines strategic planning, operational leadership, executive partnership, and hands-on project execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Serve as the CEO’s liaison to the fundraising team by managing priorities and requests to prioritize focusInteract professionally with high-net-worth individuals and donors, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and discretionCoordinate meeting agendas to ensure timely and thorough preparation with actionable outcomesOversee all reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) for both internal stakeholders and external partnersHandle approval processes for a variety of projects and documentsCreate and modify existing SOPs for the departmentTake the lead for onboarding new team membersManage internal workflows for event success, including timeline oversight, day-of CEO coordination, and post-event tasks and follow upHappy to work with supervisory team on any project needed, including scheduling/calendaring/coordinating with a servant leadership mindset (no job is too small)Successful Candidates Will Possess:5+ years of experience in fundraising, development operations, strategic initiatives, or organizational leadership, including experience managing teams, projects, and cross-functional stakeholdersExceptional organizational and project management skillsStrategic thinker with the ability to anticipate 2nd- and 3rd-order effects when designing processes and systemsProven problem-solver with an entrepreneurial drive to build and improveProficiency with fundraising CRMs and related software preferredOutstanding verbal and written communication skills, ability to write/edit well is necessarySelf-starter with high ethical standards and strong alignment with our content, presenters, and worldviewExcellent time management skills and flexibility in handling diverse responsibilitiesWillingness and ability to travel approximately 15 - 20% of the timeCritical thinker and collaborative team player with a strong sense of urgencyComfortable working through ambiguity and adapting quickly to shifting prioritiesAbility to manage up and provide strategic/vision input to executive team - not just an executor but also a thinker/strategic plannerHow to Apply: First review our website at www.prageru.com. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
