Job Summary
Job Description
Perform all required preventative maintenance. Perform repairs on the machinery in the shipping department. Monitor the machinery and dust systems.
Operates equipment in department and relieves or fills in for operators in the absence of regular operator, cleans and maintains work areas and makes minor repairs requiring use of hand tools.
Must be able to work standing up, climb ladders, work at heights or in tight spaces, follow both written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to be fit tested to wear respirator equipment. Must be able to ride a man lift.
Job Duties
Responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures. Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them, and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor. Attend training as required or approved by supervisor. Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Education Requirements
One year certificate from college or technical school preferred; or High School Diploma or GED.
