Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will oversee the successful execution of mechanical construction activities for a major data centre development while ensuring exceptional project outcomes for all stakeholders.

• Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost control, procurement, and change order processes.
• Coordinate mechanical scopes including HVAC, piping, plumbing, and specialty systems.
• Partner with field leadership, subcontractors, engineers, and general contractors to maintain project schedules and milestones.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on financial and operational performance.
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive safety, quality assurance, and compliance across all project activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

For the Project Manager - Mechanical Construction role, we are seeking:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within mechanical construction, HVAC contracting, plumbing, piping, or related construction environments.
• Experience managing large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, or data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC equipment, piping systems, and construction methodologies.
• Proven success managing budgets, schedules, procurement activities, subcontractors, and change orders.
• Experience using Bluebeam Revu, ACC Build, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction management software.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced project environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Ability to travel or temporarily relocate to support project requirements.
