The Risk Analyst for Avalon Risk Management supports the Risk Management team by ensuring data, reports, inspections, and policy-related requests are handled accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with the Risk Manager, Accounting, and internal teams to analyze performance trends, maintain data accuracy, support client retention, and deliver the high level of service Avalon is known for.

Responsibilities

• Assist Risk Manager by sending Loss Control Recommendations for review and completion
• Work directly with GG Accounting on Avalon-related needs
• Process endorsements, address changes, and broker or compliance requests
• Set up and track inspection reports and document completion in the system
• Review recommendations for accuracy and clarity; troubleshoot issues
• Monitor data accuracy and scrub reports as needed
• Generate reports on performance, loss ratios, and premium trends
• Spot trends and opportunities across carriers, business lines, and regions
• Collaborate with internal teams to support retention and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• P&C License preferred or willing to obtain within 90 days
• Outstanding communication skills and teamwork
• Confident, self-starter who works with a sense of urgency
• Bring a positive attitude to work each day
• Experience in an insurance office or desire to one day become an agent is welcome!
