Job Summary

Where the Desert Meets Distinction

Sprawled across 20 lush acres at the base of South Mountain, Arizona Grand Resort & Spa is Phoenix’s only AAA Four Diamond all-suite resort — home to a nine-acre water park, a championship golf course, and the kind of guest experiences that don’t happen by accident. They happen because of people like you.

This isn’t just a maintenance job. It’s a craft. A chance to be the quiet expertise behind every perfectly cooled suite, every flawlessly running fountain, every seamless guest moment in one of the desert’s most celebrated properties.

The Opportunity

As a vital part of our second shift team, you’ll be the hands-on problem solver who keeps a world-class resort running at full stride — from sundown through the quiet hours when most repairs need to happen without anyone noticing a thing.

  • Respond to guest needs and departmental requests with speed, skill, and discretion
  • Diagnose and repair issues across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
  • Partner with fellow departments to keep every corner of the resort guest-ready
  • Maintain meticulous inspection logs to ensure preventative maintenance never slips
  • Keep your tools, inventory, and workspace as sharp as your instincts
  • Flag larger repair needs to Property Operations leadership before they become problems

What You Bring

  • A well-rounded command of maintenance trades — electrical, plumbing, water chemistry, and natural gas systems
  • At least one year of hands-on HVAC experience
  • EPA Universal Certification and a valid, clean driver’s license
  • Comfort working at heights up to 30 feet and handling objects up to 100 pounds
  • The stamina to walk a sprawling resort campus and the precision to get details right the first time
  • A sharp eye, a steady hand, and the professionalism befitting a four-diamond address

Life in the Valley of the Sun

Phoenix offers year-round sunshine, dramatic desert landscapes, and a thriving culinary and cultural scene just minutes from South Mountain Park — one of the largest municipal parks in the country. Here, your workday ends under spectacular sunsets, and your weekends open onto hiking trails, vibrant neighborhoods, and endless outdoor adventure.
