Job DESCRIPTION

DAVIS is looking for a Senior Architectural Designer who has a portfolio of built work showcasing exceptional design skills. This individual is a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Interior design experience is a plus.

Primary RESPONSIBILITIES

• Initiation and development of project designs and plans, within budget, for all phases of projects
• Management of clients, consultants and integrated design team
• Preparation and presentation of design drawings
• Maintain an on-going understanding of current trends in core and shell architecture and interior design
• Creation of building solutions utilizing multiple design vernaculars

Required QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience demonstrating exceptional design skills complemented by a portfolio of innovative design solutions
• Professional Architecture degree from an accredited program (B. Arch or M. Arch) preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of current construction costs
• Knowledge and understanding of urban design, site design, entitlement procedures and current building codes
• Knowledge of building materials, detailing, construction techniques and related engineering principles
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts
• Fluent in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and Adobe CS
• Architectural Registration preferred
