Positions are available for Arizona DPS Certified school bus drivers.

Essential Job functions:

• Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes while following all applicable Arizona traffic laws and school transportation regulations.
• Safely transport K-12 students to and from school, extracurricular activities, filed trips, athletic events, and other authorized activities.
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and positive environment on the bus.
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, stops, and transportation procedures.
• Monitor student behavior and address concerns professionally and appropriately.
• Assist students with entering and exiting the bus safely, including students who may require additional assistance.
• Maintain consistent communication with the Tr4ansportation Department regarding delays, route changes, student concerns, vehicle issues, and emergencies.
• Follow established procedures for accidents, emergencies, evacuations, severe weather, and other unexpected situations.
• Maintain confidentiality and treat students, families, and school staff with professionalism and respect.
• Complete required transportation logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and on time.
• Participate in required safety meetings, training, and professional development.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Possess the required Commercial Driver License (CDL) and applicable school bus and passenger endorsements.
• Possess current and valid IVP Card.
• Meet applicable Arizona Department of Public Safety and school transportation requirements.
• Meet applicable medical and physical requirements for the position.
• Ability to work Split-Shift Schedules, field trips, and extracurricular transportation.

Part- Time- Afternoon and field trip shift, with the possibility of full time.
