Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Mobile Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities for a large mobile mining fleet. This role develops detailed work plans, manages maintenance backlogs, coordinates labor and materials, and works closely with operations and maintenance teams to maximize equipment availability, reliability, and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.

Develop detailed job plans including labor, parts, tooling, and safety requirements.
Coordinate with supervisors, warehouse personnel, and operations to ensure readiness for scheduled work.
Manage maintenance backlog and prioritize work based on fleet needs and business objectives.
Monitor equipment performance and support reliability improvement initiatives.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Analyze maintenance data and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 10 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience, preferably in mining.
Minimum 5 years of planning, scheduling, supervisory, or reliability experience.
Strong knowledge of mining equipment systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain components.
Experience with CMMS systems such as SAP, JDE, or Maximo.
Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.

· CMRP certification.

· Experience in large surface mining operations.
