Position OverviewThe Graphic Design amp; Digital Media Assistant helps create professional visual materials supporting NHSC's programs, events, social media accounts, fundraising initiatives, websites, and organizational communications.This role is appropriate for students and volunteers interested in graphic design, branding, digital marketing, photography, video, or multimedia production.ResponsibilitiesCreate social media graphics.Develop event flyers and promotional materials.Design presentation materials.Assist with email and website graphics.Edit photos and digital assets.Assist with basic video and short-form content.Maintain consistency with organizational branding.Organize media assets and design files.Resize and adapt designs for multiple platforms.Work with communications and social media staff.Assist with event media materials.Develop visual templates for recurring programs.QualificationsExperience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable tools is helpful.Applicants should demonstrate attention to detail and an understanding of basic visual design principles.A design portfolio may be requested where applicable.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate combines creativity with attention to branding, deadlines, and organizational requirements.
