Position OverviewThe Fundraising Coordinator assists NHSC in developing and executing fundraising initiatives supporting the organization's programs and operations.This position provides practical exposure to nonprofit development, donor research, fundraising strategy, campaign planning, and relationship management.ResponsibilitiesAssist with fundraising campaigns.Research prospective donors and supporters.Develop donor prospect lists.Conduct approved donor outreach.Assist with fundraising emails and communications.Help organize fundraising events.Track fundraising activity and results.Maintain fundraising records.Assist with donor follow-up.Prepare campaign materials.Help develop fundraising goals and strategies.Coordinate with communications and events staff.Identify new fundraising opportunities.Assist leadership with development projects.QualificationsStrong communication, professionalism, organization, and interpersonal skills are important.Experience with fundraising, sales, business development, nonprofit organizations, marketing, student organizations, or customer relations is beneficial.Ideal CandidateThe ideal Fundraising Coordinator is confident communicating with people, comfortable working toward measurable goals, persistent with follow-up, and interested in nonprofit development.
