Tasks

• Provide disciplinary and technical leadership and drive the growth and personal development of the R&D Embedded Software Platform team of around 10 employees in Munich.

• Shape the platform software strategy underpinning the next generation of Software Defined Radios for mobile radio testing.
• Collaborate closely with international development teams, with a strong interface to product-specific software departments.
• Champion the technological and methodological evolution of our software, fostering innovation, best practices, and engineering excellence across the team.
• Own cross-functional Embedded Linux platform components end-to-end: architecture, implementation oversight, quality, security, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the platform meets instrument-grade requirements: reliability, maintainability, long-term support, and predictable releases for multiple product groups.
