Senior Network Administrator - Columbia/Frederick, MDRohde & Schwarz
Job Summary
- Lead the configuration, deployment, and administration of Cisco Catalyst 9300 switching infrastructure.
- Design and implement Layer 2 and Layer 3 network solutions, including VLANs, routing, QoS, redundancy, and security controls.
- Manage network performance, availability, and lifecycle activities, including software upgrades, patching, and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot complex network, switching, and connectivity issues across operational environments.
- Implement and maintain network security controls, including ACLs, multicast, 802.1X, port security, and device hardening.
- Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams, configuration baselines, and technical documentation.
- Support VCS integration, migration, modernization, and sustainment activities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network administrators and technicians.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and customer stakeholders to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
