Job Summary
- Fleet Accounting:
- Record, track, and reconcile fleet asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation schedules
- Process and audit fuel, maintenance, and fleet-related vendor invoices
- Maintain accurate vehicle cost records and support lease vs. buy analyses
- Coordinate with fleet operations to ensure timely and accurate expense reporting
- Assist in the preparation of fleet budget variance reports and forecasting schedules Inventory Accounting :
- Perform month-end inventory reconciliations between the ERP system and warehouse records
- Investigate and resolve inventory count discrepancies in collaboration with operations
- Record inventory adjustments, write-downs, and transfers in accordance with GAAP
- Support cycle count programs and annual physical inventory processes
- Analyze inventory turnover, carrying costs, and obsolescence reserves General Accounting:
- Prepare and post journal entries for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
- Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and resolve variances on a timely basis
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages
- Support internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules and documentation
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulatory standards
- Administer the corporate credit card and Concur expense reporting programs, ensuring policy compliance
