Job Summary 

Craftsman position that has a minimum of 3 years' industrial construction experience. Works as a multi-skilled craftsman position. Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities include: in addition to associated Craft requirements, multi-skilled in insulation, scaffolding, and/or abatement. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Insulation scope entails installing various types of industrial insulation around pipes, boilers, tanks and equipment on industrial sites. 
• Scaffold scope requires erection and dismantle of stationary scaffolds, mobile scaffolds, specialized hanging scaffolds, and stair towers for personnel access on industrial construction job sites.
• Abatement scope entails the removal of asbestos and lead paint products using a variety of hand and power tools, such as scrapers and vacuums; abates the asbestos and lead paint products per all Federal, State and Local rules and regulations.

Experience Requirements 

• Minimum 2 years previous experience or in a related construction role preferred. On-the-job training provided.

Skills and Certifications 

• OSHA 10 required

Work Environment 

• Mainly outdoors and on industrial job sites, which may include exposure to weather conditions (rain, heat, cold). Work is often conducted at height, requiring strict safety precautions.
• Potential exposure to hazardous materials, loud noises, extreme temperatures, etc.
• Protective Equipment: Hard hat, leather gloves, steel toe boots, and goggles provided by the company are the basic PPE. When working at heights, harness and self-retracting lifelines are also required.

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy to ensure that scaffolding is structurally sound and compliant with safety standards
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.  
• Problem-Solving: Regular requirement to analyze and address challenges.

• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
