About Our Client
The company are a global software, cyber-security, new media and internet business that are growing quickly through commercial sales and acquisition. They are looking for an Accounting Manager (newly created role) to help manage the increasing workload and help make the accounting team more efficient. The successful applicant MUST have prior managerial experience and a mixture of both public and private accounting.
Job Description
The successful Accounting Manager will:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
- Process improvement across the finance and accounting team
- Oversee (alongside the Billing Manager) the complex billing process for the business

The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounting Manager should have:
- MUST have a CPA qualification
- MUST have a mixture of public and private accounting experience
- Minimum of 8 years experience
- Happy to work fully remotely - MUST be on Eastern or Central time
- MUST have prior line management experience
- Happy to work at a fast pace
- Good team player
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
