The Role

This is a ground-floor opportunity to help establish and build an internal finance team at a profitable, fast-scaling company in the firearms industry. You'll report directly to the President, sit in on all key leadership calls, and be the financial weather-vane of the business day to day. Although not starting from scratch, you will take the lead in determining which parts of the existing financial plumbing we need to keep and what we need to scrap.

• Manage the finance function — budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, monthly close, and variance reporting.

• Build the internal finance department from the ground up, including processes, systems, controls, and eventually the team.

• Sit alongside the President in key operational and strategic calls, serving as the financial voice in every major decision.

• Drive financial visibility across inventory, subscription economics, vendor relationships, and margin performance.

• Identify and close gaps in financial infrastructure — compliance, payment systems, reporting, and controls as the company scales toward $100M.
