Job Summary

Do No Harm is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated interns to join our team. Interns will work within a selected track, including Research, Policy, Marketing, Social Media, Membership, Legal, or Development. This internship offers an opportunity to develop practical skills in communications, policy analysis, research, public outreach, and organizational strategy while contributing to a mission-driven healthcare nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assist in the preparation of reports, white papers, and policy briefs that reflect the organization's positions and recommendations.

  • Conduct research on initiatives related to DEI and youth-focused gender issues.

  • Assist in drafting and editing blog posts.

  • Monitor legislative developments and media coverage of relevant healthcare issues.

  • Collaborate with the communications team to support public outreach and engagement strategies.

  • Support the team in maintaining databases and resource libraries.

  • Assist in planning and executing webinars, panel discussions, and other virtual events.

·       Participate in cross-departmental projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.

  • “Can do” attitude that embraces continuing learning.

  • Precise attention to detail.

  • High level of discretion.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.

  • Firm belief in equality before the law and a healthcare system that focuses on individual patients rather than identity politics.
