Parts Manager: One of the most important jobs in the shop. If a vehicle is missing even just one part, the entire job is on hold and costing everyone time and moneyOnce trained you will be moved into more roles in the office with room to grow into an office or shop manager.We will work you in step by step until you are ready to handle it on your ownYou will be in charge of :<ul><li>Ordering parts</li><li>Making sure those orders are here on or before the vehicle scheduled in date</li><li>Once vehicles arrive you will need to insure that they are correct for the vehicle type - all the way down to the sub model (we will teach you how to "Mirror Match" parts)</li><li>Supply the parts to the intended technician once they are ready for them (communication skills will be your best friend)</li><li>Return and reorder parts when needed</li><li>Enter and scan invoices into each file</li><li>Organize part inventory</li><li>Alert management with any parts delays or issues</li></ul> More Advanced Roles<ul><li>Make the necessary changes to Estimates when part type, price, or ETA changes</li><li>Note files of part ETA's</li><li>Update Customers on repair status as well as any part update</li><li>Add additional Labor, Parts, or Repair time as technicians request</li></ul> Lot Technician : As a Lot Technician you will be in charge of keeping the Shop, Lot, Tools, and Equipment clean and organizedMore can be shown on this aspect of the job at the time of the interview.
