We are a family oriented General Dentistry Practice looking for a motivated Hygiene Assistant with a passion to learn. One year of Dental office experience is a bonus but not required. Our office is very open to those who have motivation to continue or begin their learning within the dental field. DOE Responsibilities <ul><li>Walking patients to and from the treatment room and prep them for care.</li><li>Remove instruments and tools from treatment rooms after use and processes them for sterilization.</li><li>Assists in preparing trays</li><li>Cleans and sets up treatment rooms</li><li>Prepares, Decontaminates, and disinfects instruments</li><li>Records treatment information on patient charts.</li><li>Chairside assist Hygienists when needed to ensure patients receive the best care.</li><li>Manages general house cleaning tasks.</li><li>Break down and set up operatories.</li><li>Help maintain office and clinic cleanliness.</li><li>Maintains OSHA/WISHA, Aseptic Technique, HIPAA according to compliance and company protocols.</li><li>Performs routine maintenance of dental equipment</li><li>Performs daily and weekly waterline maintenance.</li><li>Weekly spore testing submission</li><li>Identify expired clinical materials and reorder as needed.</li><li>Familiarity with each doctor’s tray set up preferences.</li><li>Document and maintain accurate sterilization records.</li></ul>Qualifications 		• Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous		• People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects		• Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction		• Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture		• Achievement-oriented -- enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might fail		• Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction		• Teachable -- constantly sharpening skills
